If you have an artwork that needs lighting from the back, you’ll probably need a lightbox.
These can come in a variety of options depending on what is appropriate for the artwork. We have done many where the art is housed in a perspex box if you want a light and modern feel to complement the piece.
We have just completed these beautiful wooden lightboxes, housing the amazing work of artist Chris Levine. The client wanted to explore the options of having a lightbox powered by the mains or battery, hence the difference in depth.
Having a deep frame allows the beauty of the wood to have an impact as it holds the jewel of the lenticular.
This is a fresh and different way to celebrate art and will make a good impact, whether it’s in a domestic or public setting.
